1. Spooky Black Bean Hummus
This is a perfectly healthy and interesting halloween treat. Pair it with some red or black corn chips for a little extra spooky.
2. Scary Dairy Cheese Monsters
Just take a scoop of cream cheese, roll it in shredded cheddar and decorate. The mouths are olives and the eyes are pretzels, little cheese balls and another couple olives.
3. Cute, Spooky Fruit
These are adorable for the kids (and the grownups) they make a great snack for lunches or an interesting offering at a party. The ghosts are bananas with chocolate and mini chips and the pumpkins are clementines with little celery stalks.
4. Halloween Hotdog Fingers
These are the ultimate in creepy food. They work best if you boil the hotdogs. You simply slice out a fingernail area, squeeze on some ketchup and add a bit of sauteed onion in its place. Slice the hotdog to look like fingers, making shallow cuts for the knuckles and top the bottom with ketchup.
