Transport yourself to Italy for an afternoon in this culinary adventure.  Together, we’ll explore traditional Sicilian cuisine and learn about the various influences that set it apart from other Italian fare.  We’ll work together in the kitchen as we create a traditional Italian meal from scratch, learning techniques and skills as we cook.


Amuse Bouche: Tarallucci

Basil Ricotta Bruschetta (Homemade ricotta, fresh basil oil, garlic basted crostini, wildflower honey)

Pasta alla Norma (Slow braised summer squash)

Almond Biscotti (Gently toasted almonds, double baked sweet pastry, orange glaze, tiramisu gelato)

Cannoli alla Ricota (Fresh homemade ricotta, sweet deep-fried pastry preserved cherry)


This program requires that all students have basic knife skills and kitchen organizational skills. Therefore, all students must have completed our Mise en Place course (or similar program) prior to enrollment.  If you have not completed these courses, you can find them as part of our Foodie Basics Program.
