Learn about the 5 Mother Sauces, which are the foundations of almost every sauce you’ll ever make.  This cooking class focuses on giving you an understanding of how to make each mother sauce, and once you understand the basics, we go on to show you how to add other ingredients to invent new sauces (derivatives) of your own.

Curriculum

Mother Sauces
Including: Bechamel, Espagnole, Hollandaise, Tomato, Veloute

Derivative Sauces
Including: Marinara, Puttanesca, Mushroom Supreme, Green Peppercorn & Cognac, and Others
