In our Future Foodies summer camp, each week presents a distinct culinary adventure, featuring a unique set of skills and recipes. Whether your child joins us for a single week or the entire month, they’ll enjoy a fresh and engaging culinary curriculum, each and every time.

Our summer camps are designed as an all-day experience, starting with a nourishing breakfast to fuel our young chefs before we jump right into a day (or half day) of cooking.  To keep our students energized, we schedule regular breaks every 45 minutes, where the kids are encouraged to take a seat, have a snack and make some friends.

Each day of our summer camps offers a different theme and selection of menu items that your kids will be learning about, tasting and cooking.  Recipes are randomly selected by our chef instructors for each cooking adventure, so we can’t guarantee which recipes your children will be making, but they will make or learn about at least 3 recipes from the items listed under each day’s adventure.

All Day Breakfasts (Monday)

Every Monday, our “All Day Breakfasts” theme empowers campers to start the week with the skills to prepare a variety of breakfast favorites. By the end of this class, children will be equipped to surprise you with a delicious and healthy breakfast on Sunday mornings.

During these sessions, the recipes we’ll explore include: Pancakes, Waffles, French Toast, Fresh Juices, Lemonade, Various Styles of Eggs, Omelets, Crêpes, Breakfast Burritos, Fruit Salads, Skewers, Homemade Granola, and Fruit and Yogurt Parfaits.

Savory and Sweet Breads (Tuesday)

Join us every Tuesday for “Savory and Sweet Breads,” a day dedicated to the art of baking. From breads and pizzas to cakes and cookies, this class is all about the joy of working with dough. Campers will have fun learning to punch, pull, and squeeze dough into delicious creations.

Throughout these sessions, we’ll delve into a variety of baking recipes, including different kinds of: Breads, Pizzas with various toppings, Cookies, Cupcakes, and Tarts.

This day provides a comprehensive baking experience, teaching kids the secrets behind crafting both savory and sweet treats that they can recreate at home for family and friends.

Sandwiches and Sides (Wednesday)

Every Wednesday, campers put their freshly baked breads from the day before to delicious use. This day’s adventure focuses on constructing a variety of sandwiches, playing with tasty sides, and experimenting with both sweet and savory spreads.

Throughout these classes, the recipes we’ll explore include: Club Sandwiches, Sliders, Tramezzini, Panzerotti (stuffed pizza), Wraps, a range of Sweet and Savory Spreads, various Sides and Stuffings for the sandwiches, and an assortment of Cheeses.

All About Pasta and Sauces (Thursday)

“All About Pasta and Sauces,” is a day filled with fun, flour, and a bit of delightful mess. This adventure in the kitchen teaches children the craft of making their own pasta and sauces, entirely from scratch.  During the day, campers will learn to make various types of Homemade Pasta, complemented by a selection of classic sauces.

The recipes we’ll rotate through include: Tomato Sauce, Bolognese, Alfredo, Rose Sauce, and Potatoes Gnocchi. We’ll also dive into a comforting favorite, Mac & Cheese.

This hands-on experience not only teaches the fundamentals of pasta making but also allows kids to understand the nuances of flavor that different sauces bring to their dishes.

School Lunch Box (Friday)

We finish off our week with our “School Lunch Box” adventure, where our chef shares practical tips with the kids on preparing healthy, tasty lunches to bring to school. This session is all about crafting easy-to-make, nutritious meals that they will love.

Throughout the day, campers will learn to prepare a variety of lunch box favorites.

The recipes we’ll rotate through include: Sandwiches, Fruit Salads, Cold Pasta Salad, Rice dishes, Homemade Kids Power Bars, Wraps and Breakfast Burritos, Croquets, and Fresh Juices.

In Our Camps

For each week that our summer camp runs, there will be a different selection of skills and recipes to explore.  That means you can send the kids for a week or send them for a month, each camp offers a different set of skills and experiences.

Our classes are organized as an all-day event.  Each camp begins in the morning with breakfast for the students, before we head into the kitchen to get to work. There are breaks throughout the program, approximately every 45 minutes.

Students are encouraged to bring take home containers to take leftovers with them. We provide all the rest of the required tools and equipment for the camp, including knives, aprons, a chef’s hat and for smaller children, a security stool.

Our camps run from 9am until 4pm daily.  For morning sessions, our camps run from 9am until 12pm and afternoon sessions from 1pm until 4pm daily. For all day sessions, students will enjoy a lunch break and some activities between sessions.  We allow for a 15-minute window for student drop-offs and pickup before and after the programs.
