Classes & Experiences

For both cooking classes and culinary experiences, the most important thing that you bring is yourself.

Please also remember to bring your printed tickets (no phone tickets at this time, please)

Closed toed shoes and tupperware containers (if you are cooking with us)

We understand things come up, so we have a pretty fair cancellation policy in place to handle those tricky situations.  We prepare our classes and buy the ingredients based on the number of people attending, so when you can’t make a class, we can’t always just move you to another, or hand you back a full refund, but we do try to keep it fair for everyone.  You can view our full cancellation policy here.

Our recipe books are all online so that you can cook your favourite dishes anytime, anywhere. Our recipe box is located at: https://homechefschool.ca/recipe-box/. After you successfully complete your purchase, we’ll email you a password which gives you access to not only the recipes for your class, but a whole host of other recipes as well.

We love technology, but we can’t accept tickets on phones or tablets at this time.
The short answer is: It depends.

For ticketed dining experiences and cooking classes, the menu is set in advance, so we unfortunately can’t offer modifications.

However, you’re always welcome to join us for the wine, laughs and the experience.

For events and team cooking experiences, we can accommodate some special diet requests.

If you have a special food requirement, reach out to us to discuss what can be done to help you enjoy your culinaria experience.

 

You Sure Can! Our gift cards can be used toward anything we sell. So if you have a gift card and wish to purchase a cooking class or dining experience with it, go nuts! Just make sure to enter the gift card number at checkout (so we can validate it), and bring the card with you the day of your event.

Events & Celebrations

We can accommodate groups as smalls as 15, all the way up to groups of 75.

 We offer a whole host of flexible, build your own menus to suit any event.  Once you book your date and time, we’ll give you access to our online menu builder to start creating a bespoke menu for your event.

Yes! We offer indoor and outdoor ceremony options (weather permitting).  We also offer a bridal suite rental to prepare for your upcoming nuptials and access to a whole host of preferred vendors who can help craft the day of your dreams.

Team building is another way to say, “Group Cooking Class”.  It’s a private experience where your group of 15 or more will cook a set menu together, then sit down in our dining rooms to enjoy a dining experience.

Team building experiences can be a mix of family, friends or work colleagues.

At this time, we are not offering an à la carte dinner menu.  Instead, we’ve introduced a handful of curated culinary experiences, which are designed to provide you with not only a dinner reservation, but a complete culinary experience.  You can view all of our upcoming experiences here.

Other Questions

You can buy gift cards right online here.  You can also buy them in the restaurant, if you’re already in the area.  With your purchase, we offer the option to have us send your gift card to someone or to send it to you to gift yourself.

Our gift cards can be used for anything we offer.  That means that you can use it for a cooking class, dining experience, towards an event or anything else we’re offering!

To redeem your gift card, you can enter the number online (if you’re paying that way) or show your card in store.

If you are purchasing online, please also bring your gift card along when you arrive at your experience.

We use Stripe for our online payment system.  That means that you can pay pretty much any way (credit card, Google Pay, Apple Pay and more).
